When an injury happens, it’s not just the football they can miss.
A broken bone or serious injury can mean weeks away from football or other activities. For parents, it can also mean time away from work, hospital appointments, extra travel and changes to everyday family life.
EverydayProtect provides financial protection following covered accidents and injuries, paying cash benefits to help your family deal with the financial impact when something goes wrong.
And it’s not just for the player. You can protect yourself and add cover for all your dependent children.
Football Injury Insurance is accident and injury cover designed to provide cash benefits following specified injuries and hospital stays. EverydayProtect can cover adults 24/7 and allows Child Cover to be added for dependent children.
Can I get football injury insurance for my children?
Yes. With EverydayProtect, you can add Child Cover for all your dependent children from only £13 per month.
If your child plays football or other sports, you’ll know injuries are part of the risk.
A bad tackle, awkward landing or a simple accident can result in a broken bone or an injury that keeps them out for weeks or months.
By adding Child Cover, all your dependent children can be covered in one easy monthly payment. And they’re not only protected while playing football. Eligible accidents away from the pitch can be covered too.
You don’t need to play football to be covered. Your own protection operates 24/7 and isn’t restricted to sport – you’re covered at home, work or play.
And protecting yourself can be just as important as protecting your children. If you’re injured, you could need time away from work, lose income or face additional costs while you recover.
Whether the accident happens at work, out cycling, at the gym, playing five-a-side or simply going about everyday life, eligible injuries can result in a cash payment.
That gives you extra money when your family may need it most, helping with the financial impact while you recover.
When an injury disrupts family life, the costs can add up.
A payment could help with:
Taking time away from work
Travel, parking and trips to appointments
Additional childcare or family arrangements
Other unexpected costs while you or your child recover
The benefit isn’t tied to specific expenses, so you decide how to use the money.
What happens if my child gets injured?
With Child Cover, all your dependent children are protected, with cash benefits for eligible events including:
Lump-sum payments for broken bones
Lump-sum payments for other serious accidental injuries
Up to £100 per day for eligible UK hospital stays
Child cancer benefit
Their cover isn’t restricted to football – eligible accidents away from the pitch can be covered too. Sickness for hospital stays is covered once you’ve had the plan for 12 months.
Does football injury insurance cover ligament injuries?
For adults, it can. Whether it’s football, cycling, running or another activity, ligament tears, tendon ruptures and dislocations can mean a long recovery and disruption to everyday life.
By adding Active Lifestyle Cover from £2 per month, you can extend your protection to include eligible:
